Housing
As with all others assigned to the Airfield, members of the 6th Brigade will apply for government housing via the private company Balfour Beatty. When you receive military orders, apply for on post housing via the Hunter AAF Homes official site.
You may also apply in person at the Balfour Beatty Community Management Office but it may be wise to contact the management office as soon as you get your orders.
Unaccompanied junior troops, may be required to live on-post depending on the current demand for single soldier housing. Contact your sponsor or gaining unit orderly room to learn what options exist when you get your PCS orders.
On-post housing for unaccompanied troops E-5 or below may be authorized to reside in the local community and collect the housing allowance BAH offered at the “without dependents” rate. This may depend on the soldier’s status as a renter or home owner, circumstances, and occupancy rates on post.
